ABOUT

Dr. Michael Matthew is a bilingual educator, consultant, educational coach, college professor, program and human resources developer, and administrator spanning 20 years of diverse experience in special, elementary, bilingual, and adult education.  

 

Dr. Matthew has coached and mentored school districts, non-profit organizations, government boards, and local agencies. His expertise includes:

 

  • Gathering and analyzing data to evaluate student performance,

  • Creating and facilitating workshops on various educational topics,

  • Conducting needs assessments designed to provide effective group-specific

       educational services,

  • Supervising educational projects and administrating budgets,

  • Writing, submitting, and implementing grant proposals,

  • Presenting program reports on strategic plans for school improvement, 

  • Tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students, and

  • Providing leadership in curriculum development.

In addition to his book, Attitudes of Teachers toward Professional Development, San
