ENDORSEMENTS
EMERGING AS ONE
As an executive board member for Emerge USA, Dr. Matthew endorses its mission to develop leaders (an “emerging leadership” educational program) from the Islamic community in the United States by promoting political awareness and involvement with exercising the 15th Constitutional Amendment (the right to vote). In addition, Emerge USA promotes the importance of sponsoring candidates who support civil rights, diversity, and who encompass American core values.
Audrie & Daisy
"Sexual violence does not discriminate. All ages, all genders, all people are victims, with middle and high school students experiencing some of the highest rates. Today further trauma is perpetrated on the victim when their assault is posted, shared, and commented on over social media." (The Audrie and Daisy curriculum).
